Tonight: Johnny Booth hanging out on Thee slappyHour
Hardcore metal band Johnny Booth are stopping by my show sometime around 10 PM to play some tunes, talk about their new recording and their mini tour of the Northeast.
They just recorded their 5 track EP at RQR studios two weeks ago and are playing the Khyber tomorrow August 20th.

A Very Metal Flower Show
I like hardcore metal and planting crap. This year the Philadelphia Flower Show had a New Orleans theme complete with some good jazz music, creative landscaping and nice smelling flower arrangements. Go here for my lame plant pics.
It's over now, but if you're into the horticultural endeavors go to the Flower Show next year. Whatever the theme, it is a great experience for those of the green of thumb. Thank you to Alan Jaffe of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society for supporting us here at WKDU.
