Mikey was struck and killed by a drunk driver last night (Saturday 15-November). Mikey was a WKDU DJ back in the 90s, a founder of the legendary Stalag13, owner of Goatboy Records/Legion Records and sang in Philly bands The Claw, Grim Aria, The 8th Fire, Dead Alive and Manual-7. In addition to everything he contributed to the Philadelphia music scene, he was one of the greatest people i have had the pleasure of meeting. I first met Mikey when we were new members at WKDU back in the Fall of 1992 and i can't even begin to list how much better my life has been because he is a part of it. We'll miss you buddy. -johnpaul
