Starting on Wednesday September 17th, get ready for an action packed week here at WKDU.

On Wednesday at 1 PM, English songstress Laura Marling (www.myspace.com/lauramarling) will be stopping by the WKDU studios to do a live performance before her sold-out show at the First Unitarian Church Chapel. She was just nominated for the Mercury Prize; she already has a large following in England, be sure to catch her here before she blows up in America!

Also coming in Wednesday at 4 PM, catch master song-writer Ron Sexsmith (http://www.myspace.com/ronsexsmith). He's probably written your favorite song and performed with all of your favorite artists, and with his ninth release Exit Strategy of the Soul, he brings exactly that, SOUL, so why not stop by and catch him while we got him! He's playing later that night at the Tin Angel!

Coming Thursday 9/18 at 2:30 PM, the cutest autoharp player we know, Basia Bulat (http://www.myspace.com/basiamyspace), is coming by the station to sing her way into our hearts. You might have caught this Canadian native on tour with Devotchka a few months ago (I know I did)! This is not one to miss, tune in, be enthralled as she performs solo! See her later in the night at the Tin Angel!

Talk about awesome, on Friday 9/19 at 6 PM Minneapolis based and recent Militia Group signees One For The Team (www.myspace.com/onefortheteam) are embarking on a nationwide tour and specially stopping at WKDU to do an in-studio performance. It's going to be great, check them out live when they swing back and hit Philly on 9/27 at the Fire!

Airing Monday 9/22 on Sunjay's Brekky Shift 5-7 PM (the center of Psychadelphia!), a live Darker My Love studio appearance! Check out these juggernauts as the come through our station and play..... acoustically (so I've heard!)
