"I wanted to get in touch with you regarding a huge upcoming Philadelphia event that I am putting together with my family. The event features Philadelphia local artists and I wanted to reach out to you specifically, to possibly get WKDU involved in helping to spread the word about the event and the cause.

My brother was diagnosed with a brain tumor last year. Inspired by my brother's journey and his perseverence throughout his health struggles, my family - with the support of the Brain Tumor Society - has put together THE NO BRAINER, a kickoff concert event. The event takes place sunday evening, October 26 - 6pm to 9pm, at Fuzion Grill and Social Club in Philadelphia. The goal is to raise money and awareness for BTS, in anticipation of the Race For Hope. I am performing with my bossa nova band, and I have asked local Philly performers Josh Joplin, Karen & Amy Jones and Cowmuddy to join me on stage for this first-ever event. There will also be raffles and race sign ups and a silent auction, plus special guests.
