Liz & the Lost Boys is the singer-songwriter project of harpist and pianist Liz Ciavolino. Their sound draws from a variety of folk, rock, classical, and jazz influences to create whimsical and ethereal pop matched with conversational lyrics. They released their first full-length album in June 2013, available on Bandcamp. The project was funded via Kickstarter and recorded at Uniform Recording studios with Jeff Zeigler who has also recorded artists such as War on Drugs and Kurt Vile. Liz and the band have been performing in Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington DC, and Brooklyn at bars, cafes, and house shows for the past 3 years.
The main project of vaporwave/future-funk producer Captain T.V. and glitch-experimentalist What Nerve, Eyeshock Swelter has bent its original dream-pop sound to incorporate elements of math, industrial, and noise rock. The band put out EPs "Tamarind Swelter" and "Salamander Breakfast" on Bandcamp in 2013, and are planning to record and release their debut LP in 2014, along with a string of split singles. Their most recent release is the single "Rebound b/w Torrent" on Null Religion Records.
