Categorized as "chamber-pop", has been compared to the indie rock lumanaries such as The Arcade Fire, Broken Social Scene and The Decemberists. This Indianapolis band's expansive sound is as broad and accomplished as the aforementioned collectives, but they're more focused, and their songs display a fluency in genres beyond indie-pop. Filled with stories and observations, made tastier with Jesse Lee's cello, Emily Watkins' rhodes piano and Hubert Glover's trumpet. They have a new record out called Buzzard on their own Mariel Recordings.
