Live @ WKDU: Thom McCarthy

On March 9th around 2pm WKDU will have the pleasure of opening its doors to Thom McCarthy, and he will be playing a live acoustic set on our "Lenny Sasso Late Nite in the Day Light" program! Thom McCarthy may have grown up in a small town in Pennsylvania, but there is nothing small about his sound. With influences coming from the likes of Tom Waits, Otis Redding and Brian Wilson, McCarthy's tracks feature honest lyrics paired with percussion, piano and guitar sections. McCarthy's performances are quickly gaining popularity in Philadelphia and some say that he is one of the city's most unique secrets.
