This week on The Morning Brew, we discuss about the Gamestop stocks along with the app Robinhood over a civil lawsuit to halt trading with its users after the Reddit thread r/wallstreetbets was buying Gamestop stocks. Robinhood agreed to allow trading following this incident to save face as they were going to promote an add for the Super Bowl. Later on, we talked about how AMC Movies has lifted from bankruptcy after receiving donations pasts their annual budget to remain afloat for the rest of 2021, and what the future of moviegoing will be like.
