It’s a new year and I have been thinking about all the things that have given me JOY. In times like these it’s an act of defiance to be JOYFUL abs to find things that give you slivers of light in the dark. Some of you may know that I am a practicing artist and photographer. This fall , now that my two boys are big enough to be in school full days, I was planning on going to start graduate school at Moore College in Philadelphia. Was planning on starting my Masters in Fine Arts. However COVID caused me to put it on the backburner for another year. But what’s another year anyway? I was working at the Barnes Foundation as a school group guide. But that too disappeared as mUseums and cultural institutions closed and discontinued tours. It’s been almost a year since our works changed and I have taken to finding JOY were I can. I’m sharing it with you so you can get inside my head! Ten things.... not in any particular order...
