21+ Join Siggraph Philly for a night of live visuals and creative exploration at Algorave, an open mic for visual artists of all levels. Whether you're a VJ veteran or just curious about generative art, this is your space to play and experiment.
We’ll kick off the evening with a hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop led by UPenn Professor Ana Estarita, using Hydra, a browser-based tool for creating real-time visuals. No downloads, no installs, just open your browser and dive in. The workshop will start at 7.15 pm.
After the workshop, the mic and screen are yours. Jam live with generative visuals and create alongside music. Think glitch art and interactive motion. Anything goes.
This is a night of experimentation and play, not perfection. We’re here to try things, mess up, remix, and create something unexpected together.
