For now...
Formed in 1984 in Amherst, Massachusetts, Dinosaur Jr. has always enjoyed a large cult following, no doubt drawn by the band's ample use of distortion, high gain, and heavy feedback to compliment frontman J. Mascis's melodic guitar sound. Influencing bands like The Pixies and Nirvana, Dinosaur Jr. helped to create the alternative rock sound of the 1990s.
See Dinosaur Jr. perform their 1988 LP Bug in it's entirety at The Electric Factory, Friday, June 24th. The legendary Henry Rollins will be joining the tour to interview the band right before their set each night. Also on tour is LA's hardcore punk band OFF!
