Upfront w/ Black Punks examines the intersectional experience of Black punks from the 90s to the present through a collection of artist interviews. By looking at the intersections of race, gender and class, the film encapsulates how alternative communities have changed and also stayed the same. Regardless, it exists as a testament and celebration of Black artists who dare to challenge the status quo and express themselves differently.
