Conservation scientist Kate Duffy offers an inside look at some of the Museum’s conservation projects. Also hear all about our X-ray fluorescence machine, which helps us determine the age of a painting without having to take a sample.

In these unconventional gallery tours for the adventurous, Penn and Temple med students diagnose figures in paintings and prescribe treatments.

Explore an assortment of objects from the Philadelphia Museum of Art and Mütter Museum of The College of Physicians of Philadelphia and figure out whether they were used for art or surgery.
