Murphy's Law is an influential American hardcore punk and crossover thrash band formed in 1982 in Astoria, Queens, New York. Fronted by charismatic sole constant member Jimmy "Gestapo" Drescher, the band is a staple of the New York Hardcore (NYHC) scene, famous for blending aggressive punk, skate punk, and metal with a lighthearted, party-centric attitude.
