WKDU Presents: The Raveonettes with Melody's Echo Chamber
Thursday, October 4, 2012 - 9:00pm
Venue:
Union Transfer
Age:
All Ages
Price:
$15
The Ravoenettes are comprised of Danish duo Sune Rose Wagner and Sharin Foo. Blending Everly Brothers harmonies, dark lyrical content, and noisy electric guitar, The Raveonettes have a sound entirely their own—not afraid of pop hooks, but nowhere near saccarine. Having inspired bands such as Dum Dum Girls and The Drums, The Raveonettes have fingerprints all over modern indie rock. Catch them the day after their performance on Letterman at Union Transfer!
