Rival Schools are a post-hardcore band hailing from New York. They were a band from 1999 to 2003, and reformed as a band in 2008. Their abrasive guitar work and their experience with many other punk and hardcore bands gave the band something unique. They have been touring since 2008, but have a new record coming out this year - their second release ever. Playing with Rival Schools is Hostage Calm, a punk/hardcore band from Connecticut that debuted in the summer of 2007. Tigers Jaw is opening for these two bands; they are an indie rock band hailing from Scranton, PA. Come get sweaty at the First Unitarian Church with these great punk bands - try not to get bruised!
