Victoria’s music, featuring analog modular synthesizers, vinyl/resin records, and self-built electronics, eschews conventions in harmony and rhythm, in favor of extreme textures and gestural tones. Preceding the concert, Asian Arts Initiative will be hosting a free public seminar between Victoria Shen and writer-designer, Mindy Seu (4PM), moderated by Anne Ishii.
