Alternative hip-hop/indie rock/folk weirdos Why? are bringing their distinct sound to Union Transfer on Friday, September 14th. The brainchild of frontman Yoni Wolf, Why? combines rock band arrangements with abstract rap lyrics and a strong sense of melody to create something entirely their own—and entirely excellent. Touring on their new album, Mumps, Etc., Why? is strikingly original in a sea of sameness.
