Electro-clash champions, hipster punks, and newly minted purveyors of the rock opera, F*cked Up will make their triumphant return to the city of brotherly love Sunday, June 26th at the First Unitarian Church. While their roots lie firmly in the anthems and animosity of hardcore bands past, F*cked Up has managed to grow beyond their little patch of land into a musical behemoth, stretching through 18 minute themed epics, a string of highly praised experimental undertakings, and culminating in the intrepid and magnificent opera that brings them to our fair city, David Comes To Life. A colossal tale in 4 parts, the titular David is finally given his voice in a tale of love, life, loss, and lightbulbs. Live performances routinely deform into a whirlwind of sound and fury, and F*cked Up stands out amongst its peers as one of the few live bands who manage to match the grandiose performances of their albums.

Joining them on this outing is the pride of Nashville, Jeff The Brotherhood. A frantic layered mix of riffs and otherworldly sound, this 2 piece takes what little they have at their disposal to weave jams more dense and intricate than most bands could dream of.
