Hey! Who doesn't like bands? Who doesn't like shows? No one, that's who. So since we all like these things, come hang out with WKDU at the upcoming Pissed Jeans show. Let the gentle sounds of punk soothe your soul on March 18th at the lovely Johnny Brendas!

Here's what important sites have to say about Pissed Jeans:

"King of Jeans. The title of Pissed Jeans’ third album and second for Sub Pop conjures their essence perfectly—masters of the mundane, beasts of the banal, high priests of the humdrum. These four, white, male high school graduates hardly look further than their own appendages for artistic inspiration, content to execute their own brand of brash and heavy punk music in the Joe Carducci-approved standard rock formation of guitar, bass, drums and vocals. From simple minds and simple fabrics comes this King of Jeans, perhaps also a slight nod to the variety of Pissed Jeans-inspired groups that have crawled up since 2007’s Hope for Men. After all, there can be only one."
-Sub Pop

Pissed Jeans are a rock band from Allentown, PA. The sound of their music is a combination of sludgy bands from the early Eighties like Flipper and My War-era Black Flag and the noise assault of The Jesus Lizard. Their discography includes Throbbing Organ 7” (Parts Unknown), Shallow LP/CD (Parts Unknown), Don’t Need Smoke to Make Myself Disappear 7” (Sub Pop), Hope For Men LP/CD (Sub Pop), and their August 2009 release King of Jeans (Sub Pop).
