FRAMEWERK DID MY GUEST MIX!

Framewerk on the guest mix! Wow! So in the spring when we all went into Covid lockdown, one of my heroes, John Digweed, started spinning these near weekly sets on Facebook live and now Mixcloud on Saturdays 4pm EST. It was through these sets that i began to discover new producers and new music at a rate that i was discovering them when i first started doing in 1995. In short I fell in love again and hard! One of the productions duos that i fell hard for was Framewerk, who i realized through intensive sleuthing, had been a thing since 2013. They had produced a lot of their own tracks but some of them, the ones that stuck out to my old head ears were the remixes of tunes from the late 90's and early 2000s.These pieces runt through the filter of breakbeats and soft melodic electronica became the sound for the moment... at least for me. So i reached out to them and they kindly responded with a delightful one hour mix that you got to hear today.

Based in the UK, Framewerk (aka Darren James and Alec Milliner) are influenced by the encompassing sounds of electronica: from progressive to breaks to chill out.
These sounds are not only found in their own productions and remixes, but also form the basis of their DJ sets, their Frisky Radio Show, and are further enhanced through their Capital Heaven record label.

They also just started a new radio show on FriskyRadio , looks like it will be a once monthly thing.... LIKE them on Facebook to get updates.

ABOVE IS THE LINK TO THEIR NEWEST TRACK , which i will be playing next week! But you can listen for free and of course listen to their extensive catalog of tracks and remixes... even one by Ed Sheeran (Bloodstream) which I have to say is pretty good!

Thanks again for all your support.
