Film Screening: The Melt Goes on Forever: The Art and Times of David Hammons

Drexel University's Pearlstein Gallery invites the public to a free screening and Philadelphia premiere of the film The Melt Goes on Forever: The Art and Times of David Hammons. The film chronicles the singular career of the elusive African-American art star David Hammons from Watts rebellion era ’60s L.A. to global art world prominence today.

The screening will be held on the evening of Wednesday December 6th from 5:30-8:30pm. It will be screened in the URBN Annex Screening Room across from the Leonard Pearlstein Gallery in the URBN Annex building at Drexel University located at 3401 Filbert Street.
Prior to the screening, from 5:30-6pm, there will be an informal reception with snacks and the filmmakers, Harold Crooks and Judd Tully in attendance.
