A glorious concoction of 70s groove, soaring harmonies, and sublime sonics make up the soundtrack to RIO KOSTA’s sun-soaked global infused debut album ‘Unicorn’ – a body of work with an ethos of endless creativity & eternal childhood at its core. RIO KOSTA, aka Mike Del Rio & Kosta Galanopoulos, crafted their sound fusing much of their respective heritages; Greek, Bahamian, Spanish, Italian, and Puerto Rican. Just as their music breaks free from genre constraints, their journey crosses borders without the need for a metaphorical passport. Recorded at the band’s eccentric ‘Hotel Havana’ studio in Los Angeles – ‘Unicorn’ perfectly blends the old world with the new.
