Good Morning. Its Groundhog DAY! ..... Again. Really its like this past year has been one long Groundhog Day! Hoping my friends on the east coast of the USA are enjoying a SNOW DAY! While I am not "live" today and probably would;dnt be anyway if it were pre-Covid times, i am producing the show from my home in Cherry Hill, NJ. Getting better at Audacity and ready to make this show a great one for you no matter where you are. First hour, a lot of new material and the second is on the ones and twos with some old dance tracks that I am sure will get you moving this morning. Shine Bright my Peloton friends.
A few from Hybrid's companion album to Light of the Fearless, Shadow of the Fearless. They have finished their next studio album and i know i am not the only one who is excited for it to come out hopefully later this year! Both worth a download. Killer Vocals and cinematic soundscape.... a simply delicious listen.

Dj Roo started at WKDU in 1995 while studying Photography at Drexel. She was a regular until 2008, when she took a leave of absence to get married and raise her family. She spun the morning drive for years and is inspired by dance music greats like BT, Sasha, John Digweed, Danny Howells, Dave Seamen, Nick Warren and Hybrid. Weekly sets are a knitting together of dance music classics, extensive back catalog of b-sides of underground beats and new tunes from today, proving that great music never gets old. Relive the club nights of the 1990s and 2000's.
