The Politics of Dancing on Tue 4/13/21

Its tuesday! So glad to bring you this weeks mix with a delightful LIVE mix from RABBIT IN THE MOON from 2007's Winter Music Conference.
Remember live music? Its coming back again! and soon we can dance in crowded spaces again. Looking forward to those moments with reckless abandon.

New work this week from Bedrock label, the Quivver (John Graham) track is a banger for sure Don't Say Anything!
Also a breaks remix of one of my favorite tracks, Rapture by IIo, remixed by Decode.

Go get your shot!

Dj Roo started at WKDU in 1995 while studying Photography at Drexel. She was a regular until 2008, when she took a leave of absence to get married and raise her family. She spun the morning drive for years and is inspired by dance music greats like BT, Sasha, John Digweed, Danny Howells, Dave Seamen, Nick Warren and Hybrid. Weekly sets are a knitting together of dance music classics, extensive back catalog of b-sides of underground beats and new tunes from today, proving that great music never gets old.
