The Politics of Dancing on Tue 4/20/21

So excited to bring you my friend from across the pond, Nick Clark in the second hour. He spins the successful and inspiring Coldwired Podcast, his set from today can be heard on the replay there, as well as this weeks show of mine soon to be uploaded to the WKDU SOUNDCLOUD PAGE! (Finally)

New track this week from the Framewerk guys... what a lovely surprise to was to get that notice from Bandcamp in my mailbox on Monday that they had released yet another remix of a classic tune, Orbital's Nothing Left. My favorite track this week was Music and Dance by Archie Ward followed by Jon Gurd's epic NOW. oh my heart. I heard this track about a year ago when things seemed so bleak and scary. I remember playing this track loud in my driveway and dancing like it was 1999!
Last track of my set was Hybrid's Be Here Now, from their lesser known Drive Club Album . It was one of the their first forays into design soundscape/tracks for video games and I can say, it makes me want to drive faster....
They also featured an acoustic version of Dogstar on their instagram that is pretty epic, as all Hybrid tracks are! Great seeing them perform it live, no word on if i can get a copy it to play. HybridbankUK on Instagram.
Did you know WKDU turns 50 this year??? Knowing that i have been around for the past 20 plus years has been a joy and we have special programming coming for you this summer!
