The Politics of Dancing on Fri 1/21/22
Im Back LIVE! So great to be home and at my new time on Friday mornings. So much easier on my schedule than Tuesday nights, I'm sorry if that show slot was better for you all. BUT you can listen anytime on soundcloud.com/wkdu and listen to most of my broadcasts from the past year and beyond.
Started this week with a little bit of Framewerk's Frisky Radio mix session from this month... here is the link for the whole broadcast.

As you know I am obsessed.
Lots of new music today and a very tiny tribute to Meatloaf at the beginning of the show.... Paradise by the Dashboard Light Indeed!
Bicep is in New York on April 1, worth the drive to see them LIVE!
ENJOY THE WEEK, wear a mask, and keep it tuned in!

Dj Roo started at WKDU in 1995 while studying Photography at Drexel. She was a regular until 2008, when she took a leave of absence to get married and raise her family. She spun the morning drive for years and is inspired by dance music greats like BT, Sasha, John Digweed, Danny Howells, Dave Seamen, Nick Warren and Hybrid. Weekly sets are a knitting together of dance music classics, extensive back catalog of b-sides of underground beats and new tunes from today, proving that great music never gets old. Relive the club nights of the 1990s and 2000's.
