The Politics of Dancing on Fri 3/18/22

Coming at you live this morning with a full half hour of Hybrid tracks, ending with Light Up, which in my heart and mind is an anthem for Ukraine.
To that end please consider making a contribution to the International Red Cross....
The International Committee of the Red Cross - together with its partners in the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement – remains active in Ukraine, saving and protecting the lives of victims of armed conflict and violence. Our neutral and impartial humanitarian action supports the most vulnerable people: humanitarian needs are enormous, but together we can address them. Your donation will make a huge difference to families in need right now. WWW.ICRC.ORG

thank you!

Next week a really special cross over guest mix , courtesy of my friends at Progressive Fun Goodness Podcast in Ireland ,who has generously agreed to share their roster of fabulous progressive mixes on occasion with my little show here.
Of Course go to Soundcloud.com/wkdu and check out my mixes from weeks past , including the Retroid guest mix and the Best of 2021show.

Sending you peace and love today and always - Roo

Dj Roo started at WKDU in 1995 while studying Photography at Drexel. She was a regular until 2008, when she took a leave of absence to get married and raise her family. She spun the morning drive for years and is inspired by dance music greats like BT, Sasha, John Digweed, Danny Howells, Dave Seamen, Nick Warren and Hybrid. Weekly sets are a knitting together of dance music classics, extensive back catalog of b-sides of underground beats and new tunes from today, proving that great music never gets old.
