One of the other student orgs in the basement here set off the fire alarm with burnt popcorn and we had to evacuate. We also learned that the old-school, big red bell fire alarms down here still work, and they work so well that despite getting the okay from the fire department to reenter the building, maintenance is having a hard time figuring out how to shut them off.
